In the heart of Irpinia originates Rubrato, a wine that expresses the pleasure of Aglianico in its youth.The Feudi di San Gregorio Irpinia Aglianico Rubrato is a red wine made from 100% Aglianico grapes. This is an intense, deep wine with a classic Aglianico profile of wild black fruits, cherry liquorice and spice. Balanced, with soft, well-structured tannins a long finish, reminiscent of fresh fruits and a delicate balsamic note.

The Bucci family have owned land in the famed Castelli di Jesi area of the Marche region as far back as the 1700s. Even though they have been growing and making wine for over three hundred years, it wasn’t until 1983 that the present owner Ampelio Bucci began to bottle the wine under the family name. The underground cellars provide the perfect conditions for the traditional winemaking techniques followed at Bucci. Without the need for refrigeration, the wines are fermented either in stainless steel or large Slavonian oak vats. new oak is used for the elevage, and the wines are bottled late to allow a slow evolution and integration.

Aurea Gran Rosè 2023 has a soft pink colour with rose gold reflections and is crystal clear and delicate. The bouquet is characterised by notable intensity and complexity. The opening notes are those of fresh fruit, with hints of nectarine and citrus fruits such as pink grapefruit, followed by candied orange peel and floral notes of peach blossom. On the palate, it is smooth, with an elegant acidity, long and well-structured, with tertiary notes that reappear, giving it a deep and lasting finish.

Red Varieties

Brunello di Montalcino is the ambassador of top quality Italian wines around the world, the first wine to receive the DOCG appellation. Brunello is a brilliant ruby red colour, tending towards garnet red with age. Its bouquet is intense, pure, pleasant and refined, reminiscent of sweet violet, tobacco, chocolate and pleasant hints of wild berries and vanilla. Its flavour fully confirms the above in a well-balanced, full-bodied wine with good tannins and a solid structure.

Spontaneous fermentation and maceration for 12 / $16 days in small concrete tanks with various daily pumpovers and délestage. After racking, malolactic fermentation takes place in the same tanks and the wine remains in decantation for a few months. After 24 months of aging in medium-toasted first, second and third passage French oak barrels, the final assembly follows in the historic percentages of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenère and 10% Merlot. The wine is finally bottled and remains for at least 24 months in our cellars before being put on the market.

The fermentations partly take place in lightly toasted barriques, in order to give the wine elegance, finesse and notes of vanilla. In the mouth it denotes a pleasant tactile sensation of silkiness. . Ideal pairings for this wine: delicate first courses, fish and white meats.

This Rosé is obtained mainly from Pinot Noir grapes, harvested in our vineyards whose history and quality are traditionally consolidated.The classic soft pressing and the right maceration time on the skins give this wine its strength, complexity, and persistence. Chardonnay completes the blend to achieve perfect balance. It has soft and abundant foam; the marked notes of berries and ripe fruit are enhanced on the nose. On the palate it is full, round and with good body. Excellent as an aperitif, but certainly gives its best with cured meats, grilled meats, blue cheeses and Grana Padano.
